In the mean time I googled this tool MB POI Loader that accepts kml-files which you should be able to export from GSAK.

Oops, forgot there is a reason for so many Google Earth macros, i.e. GSAK doesn't have a kml-export smile.gif

But a kml-file would probably be the way to go, as one of the two file you provide contains the icons, so leaving the creation of that would be preferable to leave to MB POI Loader.

Try running Clydes GoogleEarth macro, it creates a file named GSAK.KML in GSAK's temp-folder.

You can find the temp-folder with GSAK's Tools -> Folder Finder...

There are also other Google Earth macro in the Macro Index

The cars not here until later this afternoon so I can't test it. I should be able to try the conversion and if it doesn't fail there is a good chance it will work. In any event I think we're on the right track.

Thanks, Ron...

That looks like the GoogleEarth macro did the trick. Everything seems to be there that I need. All I have to do is wait until I get the car back to try it. Keeping my fingers crossed. If it works I can leave the NUVI in the Rubicon and use the COMAND for navigation.

Thanks again for your help!

Trying to match Geocaching website found counts by sbeelis - 2015-04-21

My turn to have number issues. sad.gif GSAK shows 5990 and GC shows 5989. The fcount is 1 for all caches in GSAK. I use the My Finds pocket query every time to update my Found database dragging the zipped file for the My Finds PQ on to the database. Just curious what the problem is. Hoping I can fix it or it will fix automatically at some point.

In your found database (the one with the 5990 finds) clear the user flag on all caches. Then, when loading the "My Finds" PQ, select the option to set the user flag for all imported caches. Afterwards, you should be able to filter for caches that are "found" but "not user flagged".

If your found DB really only has an fcount of 1, then the above should identify the one cache that GSAK considers found but gc.com doesn't.

Sorry for the delay, but I haven't visited this forum for a while.

Incorporated the suggestions made by The CEO.

I think I have a solution for the problem posted by Difool

Looks like you have 11 caches that don't have the user flag set.

GPX/LOC export impossible by zoumba - 2015-04-21

Hello,

Before posting I searched a bit but found nothing relevant on that topic.

I have a recurring problem with GPX/loc export.
I am using latest GSAK Registered (GSAK 8.5.1.32).
At each export it fails with an error indentifeid in mtag.gsk.
I got the following info in different popups :

----
Current Macro:
<gsak data>/temp/mtag.gsk

Error in macro at line 43:
if $p_IncludeAttributes

Error => (Pos:23) Boolean TYpe value expected

Macro will now abort

---
Sqlite3 error 19 - Unique constraint failed: mtag.mkey

---

I have no clue about the possible solution.

The $p_ variables are persistent variables that exist for the GSAK session, i.e., from start to shutdown. Your either calling mtag.gsk from another macro or previously ran a macro in this session that defines $p_IncludeAttributes as a non-boolean. Not sure about the sql error. If your not trying to pass information between macros then you might explore RemoveVar. Or make sure the definition and usage of $p_IncludeAttributes within mtag.gsk is consistent.

When I run the macro against a database with those three caches I see this:

That is, the macro recognizes that these are Premium Member caches and acts accordingly. The data in your GSAK database is either stale (outdated) or from a source that does not contain the Premium Member flag. As Difool said, refresh the caches and the macro should work correctly.

The 1708 agrees with the download from Geocaching.com and matches with the filter "My found default Caches (GSAK Default)". I have two Databases the Default one which is the one I work with all the time, and my 2nd one which contains all way points such as found/not found, deleted etc. and also shows the found count as 1708.

Any suggestions why the default Database shows 1719.

TB, visit all from collection, using publish logs by Kai Team - 2015-04-21

Geocaching.com does not allow logging trackables from a collection - if they did, someone could grab the cache from your collection as easily as they can grab it from your inventory. blink.gif

If it's a personal TB and only you have the tracking number, it seems unlikely that someone would accidentally grab the TB (it could happen if someone made a typographical error in the tracking number, twice, once while searching for the TB and once while logging it). If it's already happened to your TB a few times, I'd say you are extremely unlucky, but it shouldn't happen again unless you are sharing the tracking number (e.g. allowing your personal TB to be discovered).

This is a low level error that tells us that your database is corrupted. If it only happens when you add the logs filter, it would appear that the logs table is corrupted. My advice would be to restore your database from a recent backup.

As an aside, this type of corruption can occur if you are storing your GSAK databases directly in a cloud sync folder (e.g. DropBox, SugarSync). If you are, you should move your databases out of that folder and use a backup program to copy the files to the cloud sync folder to avoid future corruption.

My suspicion is that you have caches with multiple found logs in the database showing 1719 finds (GSAK counts found logs, not caches, since some caches allow more than one found log).

Please click here to determine which caches have duplicate logs and click here for instructions on how to address it. smile.gif

Thank you for this answer but that doesn't seem to be a direct macro problem.

Scenario :

- start GSAK
- do export via Ctrl-G
- => problem occurs !

so even if it's a macro problem, I don't start any but via the export GPX/LOC !

I'm lost.

Go to File>Export>GPX... and check your special tags for Waypoint Name, Waypoint Description and Extra Information to Show in First Log. My guess is that somewhere in those boxes you will find the special tag %mtag="XXXXX", where XXXX is a macro. That macro is the problem. If you just delete the %mtag="XXXXX" tag it should solve the problem.
