I posted earlier in a thread about the garmin edge 800 that asked if it is possible to get waypoints into it.
What I've learned is the 800 has a bug. It is supposed to convert a gpx file into a .fit file which the device then uses in operation. The process doesn't work so you can't load a gpx file into the device. The 810 works. A friend used it to convert my .gpx file into a .fit file that had my cache data. Loading the .fit file directly did the trick.
So now I need to stay close to someone with an 810 to convert files.....
Unless GSAK could output a garmin .fit file........
