should i send them to you and you delete all the other one and now only the new one will be valid?

Yes, please.

I will delete my master copy and replace with the files you send me - which will then be included in the next patch.

Thanks, these have now been included in build 42

Notes from Fatmax:

QUOTE
During the last days I did hard work to create an updated version of the county Polygons of Austria, since the actual used ones are not up-to-date and have some issues which i corrected with my polygons. Which aspects are improved? Here are the details:

The naming of the counties is according to their official names provided by the department of "STATISTICS AUSTRIA". Also Wikipedia uses the correct names:
http://www.statistik.at/web_de/klassifikat...irke/index.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Districts_of_Austria

1.
New counties: On 2012-01-01 and 2013-01-01 in total 8 former counties merged to 4 newer counties. (Murtal, Bruck-Mürzzuschlag, Hartberg-Fürstenfeld, Südoststeiermark)

2.
Some counties of the old polygons doesn't exist, eg: Gröbming (which is just a subdivision of county "Liezen"), "Leoben-Umgebung" doesn't exist

3.
Some counties are misspelled, eg. "Baden bei Wien" is officially called "Baden", "Braunau" is "Braunau am Inn", "Rohrbach im Mühlkreis" is called just "Rohrbach" (the other name is the town itself - not the county!), "Wiener Neustadt-Bezirk" is officialy named "Wiener Neustadt-Land"

4.
There were some problems with the German Umlauts "äöü" in the counties names of the old polygons which weren't displayed correctly in GSAK.

5.
The borderlines of neighboring counties weren't identical. Either they overlapped (which causes a cache in the border-region allocated to a wrong county by 50%). Or there is some gap between the 2 borderlines (which causes a cache in this gap not being allocated to a county at all). Mine are identical.

6.
Headers of Unknow-Caches could be outside the country-border of Austria by max. 3 km. Right now such caches wern't allocated. To allocate these "outsiders" too, I created a 3 km-buffer outside the Austrian country border of counties at the outside of Austria. (like already done for Austrian GSAK state-borders)

7.
The capital state "Wien" was not divided into districts right now. There are lots and lots caches in the state of "Wien" which makes the use of the districts for the countie-field of GSAK quite reasonable.
By the way - this situation of capital state "Wien" is exactly the same as with the German capital state "Berlin", which is already divided into districts by German GSAK county-polygons
I used the official naming which is also listed at Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Districts_of_Vienna
People of Wien often used to call a district just by it's number, eg. "The 10th" when they are talking about district "Favoriten". So I named the districts by its number AND its name, eg. "10. Favoriten"

I hope the Austrian GSAK-users will enjoy these corrected county polygons

At the last days i had not enough time, so i wasn't able to send the update. Sorry.
The new polygones are not from me, they were sent from another, user.
Would be happy to get the info from this user, if i should update the existing map-def-file and the graphic for the map according to his new polygones, or if he is working on own files.
