And to add a third option to the ungrateful clod collection: A "select all" option would be nice (unless they are made stick or better yet savable, which would solve that need).

On the other hand, those saved settings would need to be saved in the settings which we are trying to load, so they may not even yet be on the new machine....  wacko.gif  wacko.gif  wacko.gif  wacko.gif  I better stop, I guess  biggrin.gif

Oh, that is a bit sticky, now isn't it?

The settings would have to be used on the target computer, which could be done manually the first time you restore to that computer. However, you are quite right that they also would have to be saved on the source computer if you are restoring settings from the source computer, so that they exist after the restore. wacko.gif

I don't see this as insurmountable - for example, if I'm transferring from my desktop to my laptop, I save the laptop restore settings on the desktop (remember you can open the dialog, select settings and save them without actually executing a restore). I now go to my laptop and manually select the desired settings (one time only). After I restore, the settings I saved on my desktop will also exist on my laptop. wink.gif
