The key is to use saved Views and to associate a saved view with a database.
1) Set up the view the way you want (add or remove columns, rearrange columns by dragging them to the left or right, etc). You may want to start with your default or "generic" view.
2) Go to View>Save Current View. Give that view a name (e.g. "Default").
3) For each database where you want to use this view, go to Database>Properties, UNcheck "Use Defaults" and select your saved view from the "Associated View" drop down.
Repeat the above steps to create custom views for specific databases.
