As far as I understand the macros working, the POIs for each export are written to the POI_Stash directory and in a last step the POIs from the current and all past exports are combined from POI_Stash and written to POI.
Since it seems that nothing is written to POI_Stash, there is no need to combine anything. I guess that is the reason why this step is not executed on your machine...
Only lignumaqua will be able to tell for sure, of course.
