Until I read this post I was wondering why I couldn't adjust the dividers on the status bar even though the change in mouse pointer suggested I could:
Maybe the mouse pointer change can be disabled when "Automatically resize status bar" is checked?
Another observation that is more on-topic, the user flag count on the status bar does not update when the number of user flags changes as a result of selecting items under the "User Flags" menu.
