I think what Paradinla wants is not necessarily more subheads within a tab but additional "free text" tabs.

Of course you can use any section's pre-note to add a new tab and add your "free text" in the post-note, but that tab will then include the generated content at the top, which might not be what you want.

To create a "free text" tab without anything but the free text, only the Notes sections can be used. This in effect means that the FSG output is limited to three free text tabs.

It seems that Pradinla has need for four free text tabs:
- Welcome
- Awards
- Travelers
- Links

This is not possible with FSG (at least not as far as I know), so the only solution available to Paradinla is to merge two of those tabs into one.

@lignumaqua
IIRC when people have asked for additional Notes sections in the past you referred them to the pre/post notes on each section. Just an idea: today we can enable/disable sections. Would it maybe make sense to add a third state ("enabled but do not generate content"), then instead of just disabling sections we don't need, we could turn them into additional note sections (using the pre-note to create a new tab; disabling the generated output; using the post-note as a free text field).

I don't know how much work this would be (especially if it would be less work than just adding additional pure notes sections), but it would solve Paradinla's problem.
