None of this is necessary.

I think it is, if you want more than three tabs that do not contain generated content.

If there is a way to do that with today's tools, I'd be very interested to learn about it.

I think you are now just trying to argue for the sake of arguing, I'm not sure why.

Actually, I wasn't. In the past people have asked for the possibility of more "pure text tabs" and back then your answer was always "I deem 3 of those to be enough" and I always accepted that (even though I could have used a fourth of them).

This time, your answer was "None of this is necessary" and I took that to mean "It is not necessary because it can already be done". As I had no clue how it could be done, I was trying to find out if I had missed how to do it.

Now of course I understand your comment was meant to convey "It is not necessary because 3 pure text tabs are enough", which corresponds to your earlier stance on that.

I guess what I really wanted to ask was "Have you changed your stance and (silently) introduced a way that allows us to have more than 3 of those" but worded it poorly. For that I apologise!

I stand by my none of this is necessary comment.

The macro is called FindStatGen and it's all about generating content. That's what it does. If instead you want an HTML management system, then this is the wrong tool.

This qualification makes it perfectly clear what you wanted to say (and had I given it a bit more thought I would probably have realised, though the OP, not having been around for earlier issues of this discussion probably would have not).

I'm happy to use FSG with what it offers now, sorry for seeming to be overly argumentative.

@Paradinla: Maybe you can roll the "welcome" tab and the "links" tab into one tab and add the links to the bottom of the welcome tab with a sub header of its own. It's how I've solved the limitation to three free text tabs in my profile.
