I understand you meant this to express your appreciation for the value of macros and not as a literal suggestion, but FYI, lignumaqua and I (the most prolific of the macro authors) have discussed this and neither of us wants to be paid for our macros. Accepting payment would make it a job instead of a hobby. That said, we won't object to a grateful macro user buying us a beer if we're in the same neighborhood sometime.
