Retested with updated macro v1.24; GSAK now at 8.3.1.41 -
- NotFound DB - do not check Owned or Found; filter before starting macro, check to use startup filter only - got the expected 25 files (12 gpx, 13 bmp)
- exit and restart macro
- do not check Owned or Found; no startup filter, check and select desired filter - NO files created; stay in macro, change DB
- Found DB - check Found only, no startup filter, check to use desired one - got the expected 5 files (2 gpx, 3 bmp); stay in macro
- Owned DB - check Found only, no startup filter, check to use desired one - got the expected 15 files (7 gpx, 8 bmp); stay in macro
- back to NotFound DB - leave Found only checked, no startup filter, check to use desired one - NO files created
- stay in macro, same as above but uncheck Found - NO files again
- exit macro, set the same filter; restart macro, check to use startup filter; did not check Found or Owned - got 25 files
- stay in macro, check Found; GSAK indicates the filter is set at the bottom (5010 of 5345 files) even though it no longer shows at the top of the selection list - again got the 25 files; stay in macro
- go to Owned DB - got message - Db Change - Process Startup Filter only has been turned OFF and DISABLED; set as before with desired filter and checked Found - got the 15 files; stay in macro
- back to NotFound DB - check to use saved filter and include Found caches - no files created
- stay there, leave filter the same, uncheck include Found caches - no files created
- exit macro, set the filter again, restart macro, left it checked to use the same filter, checked include Found caches - got the 25 files

Result - if I start with the Unfound DB filtered as desired, I can run it and then the other two and get the files for all 3 databases.  If I start in another DB and then switch to Found, I cannot get it to create the files.  I can work with that sequence, but I'm sure that I used to be able to start the macro in any of the three DBs and get them all to work.

While I haven't had to chance to look at *all* of your tests, it appears that the common denominator where unexpected results are obtained is the filter selected.
Are you sure that the filter is working correctly? unsure.gif

Yes - the filter I select before starting the macro is the same one that I choose in the list if I start with the DB not filtered and then use the drop down list. I'll give it another trial today.

It's not urgent if the routine I worked out last time still works.
