We think 8-10 for diamond is a reasonable requirement. Keep virtuals and webcams, and hopefully as they get phased out new caches types, such as the Lab caches, will become official and available. Regardless, though, they're not going to disappear tomorrow, and I personally have a lot of fun finding the virtuals for the new historical information. ![smile.gif]()
Edit: Upon further contemplation maybe 10 would be a reasonable number if webcam and virtual are included, but maze excluded? That would make it 11 total types that are not location specific. That way, if someone is in an area that is missing a particular type of cache (e.g., webcam, virtual, wherigo, or perhaps a mega-event) they can still achieve the highest badge with planning and effort. It would keep it a good challenge, and still allow the greatest possible number of geocachers worldwide (and not only US based) to get the highest badge.
