Currently, all GSAK could do is make the icon available, then you'd have to do everything else yourself. Invent a cache code and invent a cache ID. Maybe that would be a route? |
I don't want to scratch at a scab here...
I had the pleasure/honor to hide 5 Lab Caches with a Lackey this weekend.

Yeah, it was pretty cool...

Ahem...anyway...
I then went back to each location and signed the log book and retrieved 'the code'. I logged the finds as directed by the associated Lab Cache website. My GC.com find count increased accordingly.
Reading this thread I understand that there isn't much GSAK can do until the GPX files contain the right info.
For now...I downloaded the GPX file and added it My Finds Db, assigned dummy cache codes, entered the Found by me date, filled in the blanks for Owner Name and ID.
Now My Finds Db count matches my GC.com found count.
I use the FillFinds macro to assign a found count order in My Finds Db. But as expected, the macro will not assign a number to the Lab Caches. Sorting on the find count puts the Labs at the bottom of the list.
I know I can sort by date, but the exact order is (still) slightly wrong. I suspect if I edit the User Data 2 column and enter the correct find order, the next time I run the FillFinds macro my computer will blow up

Is there a work around so the Lab Caches can be listed in the order I found them (by find number)?
Thank you.
