Since no one else is reporting the problem, I suspect it is something on your local system. The fact that it runs OK on some occasions now makes me fairly confident of that.

Any chance you changed or updated your security software around the same time this problem started? It could be that your security software is scanning (and locking) files at the same time that GSAK is trying to access them. If so, you may be able to cure the problem by exempting both the GSAK Install folder and the GSAK AppData folder (and subfolders) from "real time" or "live" scanning. To locate the folders, go to Tools>Folder finder, choose the folder you need to located in the drop down, and press "Show".
