Are the logged caches part of the current set filter?

From the help file:
QUOTE
Note: For the "caches" table, seek only looks at your current filter of records. For all other tables, it only looks in your current "scope".

My first thought was 'Yes, absolutely!', but thinking back on what really happened, I am now not so sure.. I do remember that one of the fetched caches wasn't in the DB, and so I exited Publish Logs to import that cache to the DB.. and I _might_ have set the filter to only show that cache (to do the refresh of it or something..)... and then forgotten to clear the filter afterwards.. sigh.. I can even see that the note I published for that log (drobbed a TB in a cache I'd found earlier) was added to the UserLog .

Now I have to copy/paste logs for 101 caches.. hah..
