By this listing (not counting Retired/Unique), the only way you get 12 would be to attend a Mega and the Maze on the same day.  Not really realistic in my opinion.

If you aren't busy on 3/29/2014, you could head to Bowling Green, KY and catch the Maze exhibit at the National Corvette Museum and then drive the 6 hours to Athens, OH and log the MOGA 2014 Mega Event. You might want to overnight in Nashville, so that you could pick up one of the three webcams there. That would add an hour on to your morning, but provide the largest safety net in case a webcam was down. Or you could detour (30-60 minutes) through Louisville, KY or Charleston, WV to get the webcams there. Let me know if you want help planning the rest of the trip. I love planning epic geocaching trips.

Sure, that's all fine if you're a cacher in the US. What 12 types would you recommend to cachers in other countries?

ROAD TRIP!!! biggrin.gif

On a serious note, you may have missed a point I made...

I personally think it should be at 12, but I could see the argument for 11. 10 seems way to low.

I definitely have a US-centric opinion, but I would definitely support 11 at the Diamond Level. I'm not sure what the breakdown of the other types of caches in your area, but maybe that would make the argument stronger for 10. Can you post numbers for the cache types in your country/area?

Regardless, I still think it is important to keep a good balance between making it challenging and achievable, even if achieving it is very difficult.
