I am planning a long trip from Vancouver over Portland to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. So far I have more than 6000 waypoints in my database. My Garmin Dakota 20 only supports 2000 geocaches, so I want to split my database into multiple GPX files. During the trip I will use my Android phone with USB OTG to replace the GPX file on the Dakota. I would like to split the database geographically by region. So the first GPX file should contain 2000 caches in Vancouver, the next GPX file covers 2000 caches in Seattle and Portland etc.
