Found by Me Date is the date the user found the cache, Last Found Date is the date the cache was last found, by anyone. These are not equivalent results.
If you are getting zero results with Found By Me Date, it probably means that the user does not have their found caches in the selected database, or the caches are not marked as found (either by having their found log in the database or by checking the found flag). The easiest way to cure this is to have the user import the special My Finds Pocket Query from Geocaching.com into a database and use that database.
