The message says "Perhaps your 'date' before needs adjusting" - "perhaps" is there deliberately to indicate it may be a date problem, not that it is a date problem. Other things can cause this message, including a missing or empty geocache visits file, or, as you discovered, a malformed visits file. GSAK only knows that no properly formatted data was there to import - it does not necessarily know why there is no data, so it offers a suggestion of one of the more frequent causes.
Noticed it where in GSAK? Do you mean that the cache name is in the Code column in the GSAK grid? Or somewhere else? We can help you figure out how it happened and how to prevent it in the future, but we need you to clarify what this sentence means.
