Something doesn't add up here.
The whole thrust of your post and follow up complaint is on the premise that the status did not update. However, when I do a status check on that cache I get (same as reported by Kai Team):
So the api *is* telling us that the status has changed and is now temporarily unavailable - which seems fair and correct to me.
