I do as follows for a puzzle cache in GSAK (currently at 8.3.1.86 but seems to have been happening for a number of prior updates). I have Elevation as a column listing in my default view.
1. Edit WP & click corrected button
2. Enter new coordinates
2. Have "Force elevation refresh" checked in "corrected coordinates" dialog
3. Click OK
Elevation update does it's thing (fetches, download dialog displays)...
Prior to OK'ing the edit WP dialog I see:
1. Elevation has been changed in appropriate column listing of display (under dialog window)
2. Elevation has not been changed in "edit current waypoint" dialog.
I click OK in dialog to save changes & elevation reverts from updated value to original value (as per "edit current waypoint" dialog). Updated elevation for corrected coords not saved.
