1. What do you mean by the 'latest version'?
2. With V4.5, everything seems OK for me, the position of the icons correctly follows the 'Use Original Coordinates' checkbox.
3. When you say 'corrected coordinates' do you mean GSAK corrected coordinates or GC.com corrected coordinates?
4. Try running Database Repair/Defrag...
