Yes. GSAK is running SQLite queries "under the hood" and does not have the overhead of starting a macro (if you're starting the macro solely for the purpose of applying a single filter). In some cases Clyde may have made speed tweaks within the GSAK code that could make the GUI filter faster. Most filters will be about equally quick regardless of whether they are run from the GUI or a macro. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, but I wouldn't expect substantial speed differences whichever way your apply a filter. smile.gif
