| Related, the maps in the splitscreen have the option to show boundaries. I just looked at the boundary lines in the area of the cache that started this thread. While the three counties do properly meet like they should, the nearby line that follows a meandering river is a bit different than the line in the polygon files. Where does the boundary data for the maps come from? |
That layer comes from a renderer in the GIS Department of the University of Heidelberg and uses OSM data.
