Have you set your home coordinates in GSAK (Tools>Options, Locations tab) or go to Geocaching.com Access>Update User Information, which will set a home location for you, assuming you have set one up at Geocaching.com.
Or, another possibility: if you checked the "override" box on the BadgeGen dialog, you have to manually enter a home location there.
