Yes, me too.
Now if Clyde wants to put in the whole beta classification setup, that's fine.
But when I get a notification of a change, I read the link to see what has changed. Only in very rare cases do I decide to skip it, not because I'm fearful but because, for instance, a changed translation master doesn't affect me.
One exception is when I'm on a trip or preparing for a trip when any interruption in GSAK function would be problematic.
I can think of a couple of times in the last few years where a new update caused me problems...and in each case I reinstalled a previous version and was good to go.
So...
Current system seems fine to me.
