Basecamp GPX export: Cannot override symbols by fk@mvps.org - 2013-07-03

Hi!

I am using GSAK 8.3.1.23 on Win7 64bit SP1 with all patches.

Exporting to Basecamp (4.1.2 and 4.2.1, no difference) works fine in general. But I cannot for the life of me get Basecamp to display something a little more differentiated on the map than that ugly brown crate.

To that effect, I selected the settings shown in the screenshot below and confidently expected the <sym></sym> tags in the generated GPX to contain something related to the settings I had made, or at least something, period. Yet the resulting GPX looks like this (excerpt):

CODE
...
<wpt lat="48.086267" lon="16.288367">
 <time>2013-06-24T08:00:00Z</time>
 <name>GC4EX0J</name>
 <desc>Bisrob's Herausforderung [4/1] Team Bisrob</desc>
 <link href="http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=f5e5abb3-28da-4e65-a789-1f94885b374b">
   <text>Bisrob's Herausforderung by Team Bisrob</text>
 </link>
 <sym></sym>
 <type>Geocache|Unknown Cache</type>
...

I'll gladly send whatever is required to diagnose my error. For now, I have attached a GPX, only five caches, showing the problem.

Thanks,
Felix.
