Stauts Panel Count by Roaster - 2013-07-04

Hi,

I've a database with my finds. The attached image shows 224 found caches inside the yellow box.

The second database holds about 1500 listings including some of my already found caches: the yellow filter on status panel shows 181.

For testing purposes I've copied the first database. Again I get 224 finds.

Next, I've filtered the second database to show only my finds, I get 181 caches. I've copied those waypoints to the first database, using the options as shown in the attached image.

I expected that the copy process would result in 224 finds in the final database. However, the status panel shows a misleading total of 227 caches.

Why this? The first value of the status panel gives me the correct amount: 224, the yellow box shows 227. How should I interpret those values? Or better asked why is there a difference and what is the correct value? This leads to the next question: what does the value of 227 mean?

Edit: Is it possible that the difference is due to the fact that three of those caches in the final database were previously owned by me and transferred to another person? OTH the my finds and the second database contain those three caches also.
Btw, my counter on GC.com is 224.
