Following on, "C:\Users\Sue\AppData\Roaming\gsak\" is your "Application Data" folder for our purposes. The "Data" folder within that folder is where GSAK stores your databases - don't mess with that one! smile.gif

The gsak.ini file should be within the "C:\Users\Sue\AppData\Roaming\gsak\" folder. Sort the folder by the "Name" column and then scroll down to "G" and you should find it. You haven't finished Step 4 if you haven't found your gsak.ini file, so check that the file is not set to Read Only and then continue to Step 5 if necessary.

PS - If the GSAK.ini file was somehow deleted, GSAK will recreate it, so I don't think it's missing. wink.gif
