Clyde put that in as a quick add-in for the Garmin Image macro, which, although you don't say, I guess is where you saw it. It's not been formally released or documented. It's an undocumented feature! ![smile.gif]()
However, it does exactly what you might expect. It converts a png image (stored in a string variable) to a jpg image (also stored in a string variable). It has no file functionality - it's up to you to feed it the data and read/write the files. You'll see how to use it in the macro.
