Did you try to read the HELP file, shown when you press the help button in the macro screen? It might help you explaining the options you have. Rick. |
Sure I have!
But still, I am struggling to get it to work ok, and that don't happen.
Some examples:
This text gives me the impression that if I for example select Webcam, all imported Muzees will be represented by the Webcam symbol? But in a way, the last sentence contradict the first part.
"Save as Cachetype:
If you want to have all munzees stored as a certain defined type like Traditional, you need to select it here. If you select the Macro Option Use Munzee Type, the macro will store the Munzees with the type of what they are:"
Selecting Sweden and pressing Ok seems to give me what I want, PLUS a lot of Munzees from countries around Sweden. I cannot fins anything in the Help explaining this?
These parts I don't understand at all, I have read the text ten times.
It is talk about a "separate database", a "working database" and I realise that the "separate database" is aimed for Found and deployed Munzies?
The first step "inserts" Munzies and the second one "inserts from my account", what is the difference?
7. Populate Capture/Deploy DB
This button allows you to update/import your deployed and captured munzees in a separate database which is going to be used to insert your captured and deployed munzees in the working database, selected at 2. GSAK Options, Database. For manual operation, this function should be performed as a first step when there are new captured or deployed munzees on your account. The last sentence under 8 really puzzles me, what is the "selected database", a third one and what is (not) happening where?
8. Update from Capture/Deploy DB
In manual operation, this should be the second step after first populating the Capture/Deploy DB (see point 7). This button will insert all deployed and captured munzees from your account in the selected database (point 2). However the data of a munzee will not be complete. Coordinates are missing if the Munzee was not in the selected database.
