It sounds like your Load settings are still not correct. Did you save the Load settings after you changed them to your Found database, then select those saved settings in the Refresh dialog? If you did save the settings, did you check this box:

The results will be unpredictable if you rely on "Last active..." rather than saved settings because we don't know what the "Last active" settings were - it could have been a load to another database, or settings used by a macro. So the surest approach is to save Load settings and check the box to save the database, then always select these saved settings when you refresh your found DB.
Another way to approach this would be to select your Found database and select "* User GSAK Defaults *" for the Load Settings. Unless you've changed them, the GSAK defaults will always load to the currently selected database.
