Garmin Export GPS symbol for Other types by OpusTerra - 2024-09-05

Thanks for those suggestions.

Starting with The CEO suggestion, I changed the WebCam icon on the GPS in the customSymbols folder to some another icon of my choice.

I simply continue to use Garmin Export macro as before so my Other geocaches types are still exported this way (still also sharing the same icon as a unsupported cache)

And

I use notepad++ to edit my GPS Garmin\GPX\caches.gpx file to replace all occurences of

QUOTE

<groundspeak:type>Other</groundspeak:type>

for

QUOTE

<groundspeak:type>Webcam Cache</groundspeak:type>

And I obtain a different icon for my Other caches as well as my lab caches.

All is OK after that on the GPS caches list.

Then I will try to code something to do the replacement automatically after the Garmin Export.
