I admit that my main concern is automation - although some may argue that the mere use of a macro automatically qualifies as automation.
I would classify this use in the gray area. So I won't say a categorical "no" but neither would I give it a ringing endorsement.
Perhaps the best way forward for now is to say OK, but I reserve the right to remove the macro without warning or reason.
