Changing databases take long time by Crew 153 - 2013-07-18

This appears to be a similar problem which was discussed in my thread

so I tried changing the database properties as per Clyde's post but there was still a long delay before my database opened. I then found that the next API operation that I ran that GSAK kept grabbing focus.

My sequence was to

Change Database properties of destination database.
Return to original database
Copy waypoints to destination database
Open destination database
Select filter for copied waypoints
Run API for recent logs.

That was when GSAK grabbed focus.

I closed GSAK and restarted and now the API runs in the background.
