UNLESS, a global replace of UserNote with null will cause that problem ........  Probably don't want to do that any more, eh?

BINGO.

I think I just found my problem. Per the Help File $d_HasUserNote is a calculated field (Boolean) and therefore RO, which cannot be updated by a macro or anyother means. Apparently the Repair/Defrag operation does not clear up the flag if there is no note or log on the caches. It apparently only knows the $UserNote was written to, even if it was written to with nothing. I'll run it again, and filter again to make sure, but I've pounded it pretty hard with that operation and haven't seen the problem clear up. I guess I know now not to ever use a Global replace on $UserNote again, whether with a note or with a null.

Any suggestions on how to fix this in my data? Not particularly interested in downloading all those caches again, but if I gotta, I will. I update all of them weekly anyway, but I guess the updates don't fix that problem.

I guess the remainder of the issue is why it would only show the caches with BOTH UserNote and UserLog (same field with "$~" separator). Is it looking for text on both sides of the delimiter? Most peculiar, because I figured ANY text at all in the $d_UserNote would trigger a find. Guess not.
