GarminCsvPoiExport-v2.gsk support thread by hynr - 2013-06-30

I have the sense that you are missing some very fundamental information about how to work this macro. I also sense that you are searching and finding things pretty well by looking at help, reading the forum, etc. This is indeed the way to do it. And asking questions here... Perfect. Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

I do appreciate that learning to use a macro like this seems to require tons of pages of forum reading, so it could take hours to get to the bottom of this. My suggestion is to read the first page of the thread; note that Rene is currently not involved but someone else is keeping this macro functioning, pick up at page 18 and scan through to here. I think you will find that helpful.

Also, note that on the macro there is a HELP button on the main screen. I think you need to just read through all of that text. This macro packs a lot of little features that make it quite useful. But it is primarily designed for hand-held Garmin units. If you are used to using it on your nuvi, then that is fine; it should work. But if you scan around, you may find that there is one macro that many nuvi users find very useful. I don't have a nuvi so others will need to advise you.

ok, I got them both set for the same folder as the "Run PoiLoader automatically" isn't checked. So then all I need to do from here is click on the "Generate" button?
Indeed. You basically manage the POI Loader manually. Once you have that working you can set it up to automate even that step with the macro.
