It should not have anything to do with changing browsers. As jholly said, it sounds like you are installing GSAK to a new location each time (i.e. changing the path in the installation program). Please go to Tools>Folder Finder and Select "Databases" and click "Show". Click the folder icon in the left end of the address bar of Windows Explorer to select the path, copy and paste it into a post here. Then do the same thing for "Application Data" so that we can confirm that you are using standard paths. |
Ok thanks for the help - think I have sorted it. For some reason the default location for installing the newer version changed to my external hard drive. Have reinstalled it in the correct place.
